我看了很久很久很久&比較很多blender以後決定買這一隻~ Electrolux Immersion Hand Blender~~~
我的需求: My Needs
-打蛋白，我想烤東西~
Whisk egg white because i want to bake.
-攪拌&絞碎東西，因為我在多倫多買到的貢丸都好難吃!!!以前都會特別從鄉下的阿嬤家買貢丸裡面包肉的超好吃噴汁貢丸~這裡全部都沒有... 曾經在網路上看到過可以用food processor自己做，躍躍欲試啊~
Mix and chop things. It's really useful~ although it's not good for chopping bite size because it's too fine that it will chop it into even smaller pieces. I use it for chopping garlic, ginger, onion and things that you want really really small pieces.
-想喝果汁~ 一直以來很喜歡木瓜牛奶，以前都是媽媽幫我，現在只能自己來囉~
Blend fruits and vegetables into juices~ it can be used as juicer although it does leave the materials behind. So it's better if the ingredient is mushy like papaya. I have always been a fan of papaya milk, my mom used to make them all the time for me but now i'll have to survive on my own...
-廚房很小，沒有太多地方可以放。
it saves a lot of space because it's easy to put away and store since it's small. And because the attachments can be changed easily, you can use this machine for various dishes in one night. Ease up your day for quite a bit.
當初本來是想要買food processor食物調理機的，不過看了實品以後實在是太佔空間了，於是放棄。結果一轉身，就看到hand blender攪拌棒，一整個心花怒放因為實在是太符合我的需求了。所以追蹤了一段時間後看到特價的那一天就腦波很弱的跑去買了。

the OPERATING main part 主機
It's fairly easy to press and very sensitive. sometimes it's too sensitive that i cannot control the speed :P
there is, unfortunately, only one high speed and one turbo speed. It becomes annoying when the recipe requires slow speed, whenever this happens, i simply whisk it with my hand.
Blender attachment 攪拌
This is good for making anything from orange juice to mash potatoes. It is small, so it can be placed inside the cup you are going to drink it in. The body of it is long, so you can insert it into the soup that you are making. And because it is portable, you can lift it up and smash it down from side to side until all is fairly well mixed.
The feature that i like the most about this attachment is how easily it can be washed. You simply operate it with a bowl of water and everything that may stick onto it immediately came off. IT IS REALLY CONVENIENT. and because you know it's this easy, you would wash it off right away and save yourself a lot of trouble.
Papaya Milk & Mash taro and yam
it's really useful for mashing things because the blades are really sharp~ i suppose it will be very good for making chowder soup because it mashes everything really well~ although i haven't do this yet...

As you can see from the papaya milk, it can be blended right inside this cup. Very convenient.
Whisk attachment 打蛋器
Whisking with this attachment can be a little annoying since the speed control is actually manual... because there is only two buttons of high and turbo speed, when you need slow speed you can only reply on your finger to do the job. It becomes annoying but is adaptable. And because it has only high speed, you might need a big bowl to start since splashing around is inevitable when you first encounter its powerful engine.
Mix and Chopper attachment 絞碎機
This attachment is really useful when making very finely chopped items. It operate really well, in fact i would argue too well since a lot of times i want bite size but it gave me shredded pieces. hahaha, happened when i was trying to chop veges for fried rice, but it gets too tiny that some of it is even smaller than the rice itself. It's really funny that time. I like it the most when i need to chop garlic, ginger, and onions. The first two are simply too small to chop them safely into small pieces (i am always scared of it), the later is just really uncomfortable and annoying since it makes you cry. Using this attachment avoids these inconvenience in kitchen~
Comparison:
Since i'm in Toronto, the only few i have in access in retail store are electrolux, kitchenaid, cuisinart, HamiltonBeach, and other smaller brand. Because i didn't want to buy online from amazon since the return is very troublesome and many of the comments are notorious. In downtown Toronto, the stores i have around me are CanadianTire, BestBuy, BedBath&Beyond.
Because i need the whisk attachment, so many of the hand blender does not satisfy my need, so i have limiting options in these brands. (the prices will base on CanadianTire)

This is my second choice if I didn't buy this one. I ended up didn't buy this one because the motor of kitchenaid is not as...famous as electrolux's from many of the review i have seen.

My father doesn't recommend this one simply because the price is too low, whether it's inexpensive or cheap i have no way to find out, but if it does work, i think it's a really really good price. It's just sometimes the cheaper it gets the more you are afraid of it. :P
Ultimately, i really like this product and it has been really useful. I highly recommended and hope i will be able to make more recipe from this~ will share if they are successful~ hahaha
